About Us

What make us different?
Travel Local.
We know and love Patagonia. Our multiday routes go beyond the crowds, blending the iconic highlights — like Torres del Paine or Perito Moreno — with places you won’t find in guidebooks or instagram. These are the valleys, villages, and trails only locals can truly reveal.
Travel Authentic.
Travel is about places, but for us, is also about people.
It’s about stepping into the homes, kitchens, and traditions of Patagonians who carry this land in their hearts. From sharing an asado around the fire to tasting fresh bread at a local once, you’ll connect with real lives and warm hospitality — the true soul of Patagonia.
Travel EPIC.
Discover a whole new kind of landscape, spirit, and wilderness that feels untamed. Here, nature still rules. You’ll hike through mountains and glaciers that feel timeless, sail past ice walls older than history, and stand in silence under skies that stretch forever.
Every journey is designed to challenge, inspire, and hopefully, change the way you see the world.
Who we are?

At Epic Patagonia Trips, we are more than a travel agency — we are explorers and nature lovers that want to show you the marvels of the End of the World as authentic, local an epic as possible.
We are Carla and Nacho, two chileans friends who grew up exploring this country and later on, went on their own adventure discovering the rest of the world, valuing and admiring the great diversity in it. Along with us, a grat team of local guides and small entrepreneurs who live, breathe and love this land.
We are passionate about creating journeys that honor the culture, traditions, and landscapes of Patagonia, aiming that every traveler finds a personal connection with this territory.
Our vision is simple: travel should be authentic, sustainable, and transformative —for both the traveler and the place they visit.

10 Commandments
against mass tourism
Because we believe that tourism can be an incredible tool for the development of a locality if done consciously, and above all, because we know that traveling is much more than uploading a photo on social media or going to the last viral trendy place.
At Epic Patagonia Trips, we strive to ensure that our routes leave only a mark on the land and in the hearts of our travelers. We work under the pillars of sustainable tourism.
1. Embrace Diversity
Here, there is no room for hate, exclusion, or prejudice. We stand for equality, respect, and human connection. Because true adventure is only possible when every person feels safe, seen, and free to be themselves.
2. Respect for Nature
We are the visitors. We seek to respect and care for natural spaces and protected areas: we walk on designated trails or established circuits, we accept the carrying capacity of a National Park, and we observe visitor behavior in all natural spaces.
3. Animal watching in their natural habitat
We can see penguins, whales, or even pumas, but always in their natural habitat and maintaining a safe distance so as not to disturb them or interfere with their daily lives.
4. Respect for local communities
Patagonia (or any other territory) is not only its nature, but also the people who inhabit it. Therefore, it is essential to respect, understand, and understand the local culture and the indigenous peoples of a territory, their traditions, and their worldview.
5. Prefer local
We prefer entrepreneurial services and avoid intermediaries: small hotels, local guides, and operators instead of large hotel chains. Where we spend our money impacts local development and helps communities grow economically and sustainably. We make sure to work with local people and ensure our expenses stay within the region.
6. Zero Waste
Leaving places better than we found them.
Picking up trash, avoiding piles of stones, leaving nothing on the grounds, and minimizing the use and consumption of single-use plastics is essential to minimizing the impact on the environment we visit.
7. Environmental Education
Raising awareness through environmental education is essential to changing mass tourism. We don’t just walk and observe nature; we also focus on providing information about the area and the importance of preserving it for the future.
8. Group transport
Prioritizing shared transportation to reduce the carbon footprint of travel is a small action with big results. We live in 2024, and to get around, we must travel by plane and car, but we’re trying to do so in a more sustainable way through shared transportation for our travelers, reducing congestion at destinations.
10. Donation
Contribute to the territory with concrete actions and financial donations or field work. Words are beautiful, but actions are even more so. That’s why, for every person who travels with Epic Patagonia Trips, we plant a tree next to the Fundación Reforestemos.
9. Small groups
We don’t want large buses of tourists following guides with umbrellas. We don’t want to overcrowd Patagonia. We believe that less is more, which is why all our groups are small, between 6 and 12 travelers maximum depending on the route.
